About the Artist

Doris Smith is a self-taught artist.  Doris took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Living in Alaska , she developed an appreciation for her majestic surroundings. She would often sit for hours with sketch book and camera.

Years of artistic expression made it clear that her life would be centered upon her passion for art.

Doris is now a professional artist / teacher full-time. She lives in Pahrump, Nevada with 1 fur princess, 3 fur men at arms , and a devoted Chow / Huskey who stands guard over all.
